DAY1 -
感恩节北加州自驾D1-离开SFO时还阳光明媚，可惜越开雨越大。1号公路沿海经过Bodega Bay ("The Birds"拍摄地点), Bowling Ball Beach(风雨交加不能走太远啥也看不到，只能看图想象了[流汗]), Point Arena, Mendocino, 最后到Fort Bragg海边motel, 海鲜晚餐结束湿漉漉的一天。明天继续雨中行！[奋斗]
DAY2 -
- 一早趁雨还没来赶紧在motel后面beach走走. glass beach-人为破坏在大自然的神奇功效后倒显unique beauty. 👦👦按耐不住脱了鞋袜，奔向大海。🙏感恩上帝在倾盆大雨来临前我们逃回了motel
- 大雨中去Glass Beach Museum学习历史和避雨，馆长是个钟爱玻璃石的退休老船长钟。午饭后弟弟又在海滩折腾一番，依依不舍告别海岸，雨中在原始森林的盘山公路上22miles, 平均速度25mph，孩子们被绕得晕车睡觉。101红杉公路段如履平地，趁雨小先穿驶一棵2400年的大红杉 (Chandelier Tree) near Leggett，明天有更多🌲等着我们[跳跳]
DAY3 Ave of Giants
- The Chimney Tree - near the end of Ave of Giants in small town of Phillipsville
- Shrine Drive-Thru tree - and visited many tree "sculptures" nearby
- Visitor Center - walked around in the mystic forest in the back
- The Immortal Tree - over 950 years old, and has experienced more trials and tribulations than any single tree should. It has been a victim of lightning strikes, fires, floods and the logger’s ax. Yet it still stands and continues to grow heartily
- Eternal Treehouse - it is more a hollowed out old tree stump. The stump itself is pretty massive though and it was super fun for the boys
