Guilin is so humid that our hotel's (on the ground floor) bathroom floor was constantly wet. Anyway Guilin itself is a bit messy and unorganized, so we only did sightseeing on the outskirt.
Day 1 - some sort of cave and bamboo raft on Li Jiang
Day 2 - we joined a tour group to visit Longsheng Rice Terrace, and passed a minority village on the way. We didn't pick the right season, so the rice terrace doesn't look magnificent as in brochures. A lot of imagination will have to be used here. :-)
Day 3 - we just couldn't get enough of Li River and had another cruise on bamboo rafts. We headed to Yangshou in the afternoon.
Day 4,5,6 - We spend a lot of time relaxing in the guesthouse (No. 1 Yard) and sightseeing in the area.
