2010 Summer Yunnan: Shuhe
8/10 LG played another round of golf, we then took 2pm express bus toward Lijiang. Arrived Lijiang area after 4.5hrs on the bus, again delayed by traffic and bad road conditions.
8/11 After LG's golf, we rode horses on part of the ancient tea-horse trail.
We had a memorable trip to Lijiang and Shuhe three years ago and were especially fond of Shuhe. Today Shuhe had expanded with more guest-houses, restaurants, shops popping out around every corner. Compared to Lijiang, we still like Shuhe a bit more, for vegetable fields, crystal clear canals, natural springs still exist in this man-made "ancient" town. Peace and quite can still be found after day-tourists left the town.
